What is Computer Networking

Networking in wich two or more computers are connected with wires or using different protocols is called networking

In this fig as you can see the computers are connected using wiers and they transfer their data to other computers.

Types of computer networks:

There are three main types of computer networks

• LAN (Local area network)

  WAN (Wide area network)

  MAN (Metroplitn network)

  What is LAN?

  • LAN stands for locale area network in wich one or more coputers are connected with wire in a small geographical area is called LAN.
    in fig shown the two or more than four computer are connected in small geographical area using LAN network.
